Gray Tiger and the sink!
We are on Egg Watch! We are waiting for Gennie to lay her egg. We say egg instead of eggs because she laid only 1 egg last year and we are curious to see how many she lays this year. We definitely think she is going to lay an egg because she is really rooting around and nesting in her cage.
Mommy is back to reading Into Thin Air and is enjoying it. She likes the idea of living on the edge of civilization, miles away from anywhere.
Mommy watched The Secret Life of Bees yesterday. She said it was very faithful to the book which she thought worthy of a Pulitzer. But the movie didn't reach right out and grab her like some of the Oscar-nominated films she has watched recently. Dakota Fanning is really growing up!
I am sure that I have more to write about, but Mommy isn't up to it right now. She had a busy day at the library and some unpleasant encounters with some patrons.
By the way, I lost half a pound this week, tipping the scales at 14 lbs., and my brother weighed 13 lbs! The playing field is being leveled!
